today on the drive with kenny jones – we talked about scripps national spelling bee. kavya shivashankar was named champion after spelling “laodicean”. which means – luke warm or indifferent (in case you’re scoring at home – and if you are – why?)
the 13 year old will take home $40,000 in cash and prizes not to mention a huge trophy – all for being able to spell good…or is it well?
the most intriguing part of the story is that kavya wants to be a neurosurgeon when she grows up…a neurosurgeon!
