if you missed the “stupid people/stupid places” segment today on the drive with kenny jones – you’re in luck.  because here’s the skinny:

the place – a waffle house in clarendon county texas.

the charge – assult and battery with intent to kill.

an early morning breakfast run turned terribly wrong for crystal samuel. “i thought i was gonna git me an all-star,” says samuel. “grits, sausage, toast, eggs and a waffle.”

the group samuel was with got their order – but she didn’t. the other started eating and were told they couldn’t eat their take away in the restaurant.

that’s when it got ugly. samuel threw a waffle at waitress (yakeshia ward). who jumped across the counter and a fight ensued. the altercation moved outside where ward went to her car and…wait for it…wait for it…that’s right – got her gun.

during the fisticuffs, samuel was shot in the arm. when police arrived, the two girls were still fighting. ward was then hauled off to jail.

when asked to comment on the ordeal, crystal samuel just said, “bad customer service.”
