on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed a lawsuit in the uk over whether or not pringles were potato chips. i think i speak for everyone when i say, “huh?”
apparently food is not taxed in the uk – however potato chips are. proctor and gamble the makers of the artificial potato chip had been enjoying the tax free cash junk food junkies have been blowing on pringles…until now!
pringles are made of mostly fat and flour – only 40% of the crispy goodness is potato. the lord justice 40% is enough potatoness to be declared a potato chip. now they want 160 million dollars in back taxes.
this made us question our loyalty to pringles. the thought that they’re mostly made up of flour and fat is a major turn off. in fact, we may never eat pringles again!
the drive contingent then came forward with other foods they liked until they foudn out what they were made of. here’s what they had to say…
