on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed the beat players’ day trip to petra.  if you’ve never been – get there!  it is truly awe inspiring.

at the end we were tired, thirsty, hungry and our bodies ached from the hike but it was a blast checking out the “rose red city half as old as time” – okay, they’re not my words.  it’s something a swiss explorer that stumbled across petra in 1812 said, but still…it is an amazing sight.

as always, the drive contigent are quick to help out, this time they played tour guide telling me about some other things i need to check out while living here in the kingdom.
