on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed the swansea university in wales’ attempt at the largest smurf gathering in history. did they pull it off…wait for it…wait for it – yes, they did! in fact, they more than double the number of smurfs from the previous guiness world record of 1,253 to 2,510.
althought we’re not quite sure if this is cool or absolutely ridiculous. either way – very smurfy swansea university…very smurfy!
the smurfs were a global hit due to the animated series which was beamed across the globe in the 1980’s. a smurfs feature film is in the works and is set to hit theaters in 2010. the little blue creatures also be in cgi. here’s what the drive contingent had to say about the smurfs…
