on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed how kanye west & taylor swift continue to suck the life outta the wire services.  the latest is that perhaps it was all just a set-up.

conspiracy theorists claim kanye and jay leno were looking to publicize his first show that kanye guest-starred on, so he picked an easy target and let ‘er rip. another says kanye and taylor were in cahoots because now she’s more popular than she’s ever been.

perhaps taylor should be thanking kanye?

now she looks like america’s sweetheart, beyonce looks like a saint, and kanye… well, he’s still kanye.

his apologies are now splashed all over the internet via – twitter, his website and he’s even gone on national television and made personal phone calls the country music starlet to say sorry.

but are these apologies enough?  here’s what some other celebs had to say about the incident:

• KRISTIN CAVALLARI told E! Online that he was “really disrespectful,”
• KELLY CLARKSON blogged by asking whether something happened to him as a child, or if he wasn’t “hugged enough?”
• BILLY JOE ARMSTRONG of “Green Day” told E! the hip-hopper needs to “get over it.”
• KELLIE PICKLER took to her “Twitter” account to support her buddy sending her “big love” and said that she’s a “class act”
• JOHN MAYER also “tweeted” to vent his frustration –the handsome singer called Kanye the “biggest piece of s**t!”
• DONALD TRUMP called for a boycott of Kanye West, adding that the rapper’s antics on the MTV Video Music Awards were “disgusting.”  Trump said he wants to boycott all things “Kanye” so this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.

chances of those conspiracy theories actually being true are slim at best.  but one thing we can be certain of…
