on the drive with kenny jones – i was asked if i was interested in swappin’ jobs with one of the listeners for a day. i had to think about it for a second. my answer…hell yeah!

here’s what the kenny jones disciples had to say about the prospect of swappin’ jobs…

i think i’d like to get out of the studio and try one of the drive contingent’s gigs for a few hours. i’m certain that i could have your office, restaurant, hotel or store in shambles inside an hour. so let’s do this!

however, i’ve got to draw the line somewhere…and we’ll start with whatever the hell those gals are doing in the photo above.
does anyone really like their job?
after all, work is work, right? and work sucks…period!
a recent gallup poll showed that 54% of employees were not engaged in their work – while 17% were actively disengaged. that’s 71% of employees that are going through the motions. those percentages sound a bit low if you ask me.

this outta be a corporate wake up call. history shows ignoring the human element has a profoundly negative impact on the bottom line.
but remember this working stiffs – you are expendable and your next job will probably suck just as much as this one.
