drive rewinds, the drive

is “milk coming out the nose” funny?

on the drive with kenny jones – we dug into the email bag for ask kenny.  this is where we tackle the tough issues like – who’s job is it to put the “next mail bag-kenny-jones-radiocustomer” sign up when standing in the checkout line or do you get wetter by running through the rain or walking?

our email box is flooded with inquiries daily.  here’s a question one of the drive faithful sent in to the show today…

kenny,

last nite i was at popeye’s on the 6th circle.  in the corner was a man and woman – they looked like they were on a date.  he started laughing hysterically and all the dirt came out of his nose!

everybody around them began to laugh.  is that wrong?

love you,

ela

i can only assume that “dirt” translates as “snot”.  disgusting…and a very good question ela.  that is quite the moral dilema.

is it okay to laugh at a total strangers misfortune?

here’s what the drive contingent had to say on the matter…

they make very good points.  but i think you’re within your right to laugh at someone if something (make that anything) shoots out there nose in a fit of laughter – stranger or not!  while slightly disgusting – it’s comedy gold.

“slightly” may be an understatement ~~~~~~~~~~~>

i know, i know – what about the whole “do unto others as you would have done to you” thing.  i get that, but the situation is comical.

so long as nobody is hurt or maimed by the misfortune – i think…

you get the green light

whether you know them or not.

and if someone laughs so hard that something comes out of their nose…odds are they’ve got a pretty good sense of humor ~ so feel free to laugh along with them.

bottom line…

ya gotta be able to laugh at yourself.

catch the drive with kenny jones – weekdays from 4-7pm exclusively on beat-fm 102.5 and online at mybeat.fm.
