breaking down the language barrier
on the drive with kenny jones – we sometimes experience a lack of communication. these communication breakdowns could be attributed to many things, the most obvious – my being from the land of the free and home of the brave and the majority of you all being from the kingdom.
although we live together in almost perfect harmony – we still, every once in a while, hit the language barrier like a mac truck. (what’s a mac truck? it’s a semi – a lorry – or an eighteen wheeler…ah never mind.)
here’s the definition of our problem according to the wiki:
Language barrier – a figurative phrase used primarily to indicate the difficulties faced when people, who have no language in common, attempt to communicate with each other.
here’s a fine demonstration of the language barrier in action. note how quickly the drive contingent scramble to our aid…

sometimes i think we’d be better off with a couple coffee cans & some string. but even with our inability to communicate we still manage to have a good time on the drive. the program is so much more enjoyable when you all get involved.
