drive rewinds, kenny's mind, the drive

3-D or not 3-D…that is the question.

on the drive with kenny jones – we got to talking about all the wonderful movies gracing the silver screen this summer.  most of us are anxiously awaiting the latest harry potter installment and the transformers sequel – but disney & pixar have released their 3-D animated feature, up.

Here’s the log line:

a 78 year old man ties a bunch of balloons to his house and flies off with a 8 year old stowaway.

doesn’t exactly make you wanna run out and spend 14 bucks on tickets.  however…it is in 3-D.  that’s what got me.  but the trailer doesn’t seem to do it justice either.  have a listen.

see what we mean.

i’m of the opinion that 3-D makes any movie better.  and the fact that they’re are so few opportunities to see a movie that actually pops off the screen and nearly smacks you in the face is saaaaaaa-weet!

so the question is…does 3-D make movies better?  here’s what the drive contingent had to say about the matter:

what do you think?  would you see a movie just beacuse it was in 3-D?  and is 3-D cheesy or it actually make movies better?
