That’s right, J-Lo is at it again.  There are rumors all over the web that American Idol Judge, Actress/Pop Icon, JENNIFER LOPEZ is nailing one of her backup dancers. 

His name is CASPER SMART.  He’s 5-foot-8, 160 pounds.  Have a look at our d-list celeb here.   What does she see in this guy?  Perhaps it’s the fact that he looks like he’s 17.  And she is now officially a cougar at age 42.

Casper, ya know she’s got baggage, right?  She’s currently separated, has a divorce under her belt and not to mention the twins.

He’s batting waaaaaay outta his league.   Then again, she was married to the Puerto Rican Steve Buscemi.

Other things he’s been “in” besides J-Lo include “Glee”, “How I Met Your Mother” and the movie “Step Up 3D”.

A source says, quote, “Yes they are dating and having a good time.  They’ve been getting more open with their flirtings.”

But another source adds, quote:

“It’s a fun fling.  It’s not meant to turn into anything more.”

This wouldn’t be the first dancer J-Lo has messed around with.  Remember, she married CRIS JUDD back in 2001.  And we all know how that worked out.

it’s an amazing piece of machinery – more like some cutting edge device from a james bond flick.  but what might be more amazing is the listeners’ efforts to get their hands on it.

some tried begging, others attempted tears and a select few even resorted to threats.  someone even had us play a dirty trick on his family.  hear the drive contingents antic here:

on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed my recent outing to the cinema to catch hp-6 (the half blood prince).  the flick was pretty good but the experience was more horrifying than he-who-shall-not-be-named.

it actually happens every time i go to the movies…so why should last night be any different.  i’m always confronted with the incredibly annoying sound of someone’s cell phone ringing during a movie.  there outta be a law against this kinda thing.

the question is, is there a way to avoid this so everybody that isn’t taking calls in the middle of the film can enjoy the movie?  find out what the drive contingent had to say about the matter…

the answer is to the question above is – NO!  there will always be some yahoo that can’t go an hour and fifty minutes without talking a cell phone call.

i’m of the opinion that if someone answers a cell phone call during a movie the rest of the audience reserves the right to tear it from his/her hands and smash the device to bits.  if they obviously don’t  understand common courtesy – so they need to be taught.

the bottom line – it’s up to the movie goer to use common sense and not use their mobile at the cinema and defnitely not DURING the movie.  so until they blanket the theatre with some sort of mobile phone force field that blocks cell signals, you’re going to have to endure the ass behind you yammering away on his cell while you’re trying to get your 12 bucks out of the experience.

4. obnoxious people talking during the film
5. the noisy eater

forty volunteers aged between 18 and 70 will be asked to eat a cocoa-rich dark chocolate specially made for the study, standard chocolate, or white chocolate.

on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed the new coca-cola “freestyle” fountain.  It offers thirsty customers over 100 beverage options and they can pour themselves a cold one of their choosing using a touch screen.  it’s being dubbed the “fountain of the future”.

100 different flavors to choose from – i feel like my heads gonna explode tryin’ to decide from the 4 or 5 you get now.

anyway, like any piece of 21st-century equipment, the Freestyle has the ability to send back all sorts of data to coke hq, including what the most popular flavors are, when and how much people were drinking and where the hot spots are.  coke hq even has a kill switch for any flavors they need to stop offering instantly…pretty cool.

all this talk about the new coca cola freestyle got us into a bit of a soda war.  listen to the heated battle the drive contingent got into over their favorite beverages…

it’s been dubbed the great facebook status hijacking of 09.  the names of the players have NOT been changed to protect the innocent.

• guru of all things music – dj rami abbassi accidentally forgot to log out of his facebook account before leaving work.

• upon rob stevens (host of the beat breakfast) arrival at 7:04 a.m. he spotted the unattended facebook account.

• rob took it upon himself to enter a new status for dj rami.  below is said status:

when rami arrived to find his newly updated facebook status, not to mention the dozens of comments threatening to disown him, retract friendships, throw up their breakfast or daring him to proceed – he was not a happy camper.

however, it does beg the question: 

what should you do if you happen upon a facebook account that has been accidentally left open & unattended?

They are generally powered by electric motors that either drive traction cables and counterweight systems, or pump hydraulic fluid to raise a cylindrical piston…and if you press the call button repeated – you’ll get to you’re floor faster!

i wish!  we somehow got on the topic of whether or not you press the call button of your floor – even if someone has already pressed it.  you know you do it!

but why do you do it?

• do you think the light is pulling a fast one?
• do you lack the willpower to sit back and enjoy the ride?
• do you simply take pleasure in pressing your floor yourself?
• or is yet another bizarre quirk to add to your list?

Below is a list of rules compiled from the website elevatorrules.com.  this is from the section – a practical guide to pushing the elevator call button.

1.) re-pushing the call button

• NEVER re-push the call button after someone has already pushed it. this indicates that you either do not understand how the button works or you do not trust the person that has already pushed the button to do an adequate job of it.

2.) wait for the door

• if you arrive as a door is closing, regardless of how many people are in the car, DO NOT press the button. the people in the car are already prepared mentally for their trip and do not need to be interrupted. WAIT for the door to close completely before pressing the button.      If you press the button by mistake, and a door stops closing, do not board unless asked. Politely apologize and wait for their car to leave.

3. ok to ask

• If pressing the call button would require you to push through someone, it is acceptable to ask someone else to push the call button for you as long as they are not further away from it or unable to reach the button for you (i.e. coffee in their hands, etc.)

on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed H6 – they latest installment of the harry potter series.  it continues to work box-office alchemy, turning his latest movie adventure into an overnight blockbuster.

the sixth flick, “harry potter and the half-blood prince,” took in $79.5 million on opening weekend and $159.7 million since debuting, according to Warner Bros.  The movie also took in $237 million overseas since Wednesday in 54 countries, bringing its worldwide total to $396.7 million.

it doesn’t hit theatres in amman, jordan until wednesday and the drive contingent is suffering from a lil’ harry potter anxiety.  so much so, the ask kenny question of the day centered around the boy wizard.  check it out…

on the drive with kenny jones – we discussed pool/beach etiquette.   while peeing in the pool is looked down upon – peeing in the ocean seems to be fine.  tripadvisor conducted a survey that revealed better than half the people polled say it’s acceptable to have a whiz in the ocean…so long as other swimmers aren’t near.  53% of people…are the other 47% lying?
