US industrialist builds “doomsday bunker”

today on air with kenny jones – the gang found out about a killer deal on doomsday bunkers! Just what is a doomsday bunker? it’s only the latest craze for folks that think that the end of the world will take place in 2012…that is if you follow the mayan calendar (and who doesn’t?)

its only $50,000USD for your very own nuke-proof room. the inventor, robert vincino says he will guarantee your family’s security in the event of a nuclear blast, tsunami, earthquake or other disaster.

“Would you want to survive or would you want to sit on the porch with chardonnay or Jack Daniels and watch the show?” Vicino asked.

vicino is a reasonable man, he doesn’t want all the cash up front…while you’re scraping around for 50 grand he’ll take a $5000USD deposit and $2500USD for children. and pets are free of charge!

the 13,000 square foot underground structure will include an atrium, gym and jail (for survivors that get out of line…or zombies). you’ll also find sloppy joes and pearl potatoes on the menu.

he claims half of the 132 units have already been reserved. i’ll bet that’s just part of his pitch.

here’s a sample of what your humble underground airlock might look like. it’s not so bad. i’ve seen worse – in fact my last place makes this look like the ritz! still not sure it’s worth 50 grand. but then again, can you really put a price tag on surviving a catastrophy of any kind?
