today on air with kenny jones – the gang came across a story about ryanair. they’ve elected to go ahead with a controversial scheme to charge passengers to use the toilets on its aircrafts.
the no frills airline is currently working with boeing to redesign the cabin and and develop coin operated toilets on 168 of its planes.
but wait – it gets better! not content with charging passengers for the use of its facilities, the airline is also looking to reduce the number of toilets on board – leaving just one to accommodate the 189 passengers.

as you can hear – the on air contingent doesn’t seem overly supportive of the new initiative. we even got an audio clip of an inflight announcement.

what is happening? flying used to be an amazing experience. i loved 
everything about it. the tiny bag of peanuts, the half glass of soda, the meal that looks like a bad tv dinner, the headphones that work in one ear and the tray table that won’t stay latched which falls and hits your knees with even the slightest bit of turbulance.
and now they want to take away the one thing we have left…
the thrill of dropping a load at 40 thousand feet.
well guess what ryanair – you can’t rain on my parade – and no, i won’t pay your toilet fees. it’s adult diapers from here on out, baby!

No thanks ryanair! Charges passengers to use toilets, that is going too far. What’s next charging people to use toilets are restaurants and pubs? Ya know what I mean?
