today on air with kenny jones – the boys got adithya (the unofficial indigo movie critic) on the hook to find out what he thought about the sequel to the low budget supernatural thriller starring…well, a bunch of nobodies.  it’s the second installment of the series – paranormal activity 2.  here’s the storyline:

After experiencing what they think are a series of “break-ins”, a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.

surprisingly good for a sequel…or prequel…or whatever the hell it was.  adithya gives paranormal activity 2 something in between a SO GO and a SO SO.

i think paranormal activity 2 uses its minimal, low-budget way, to summon a few chills, but it’s most of all just a scheme to make millions from a miniscule investment.  it’s slightly more tolerable than the first one – paranormal “craptivity”.
