today on air with kenny jones -- we learned that paul’s life may be in jeopardy. the germans are angry at their loss to spain in the fifa world cup 2010 semi finals.

paul “the psychic octopus” who has been perfect when choosing which teams would advance in the world cup. fans of teams like australia, ghana, england and argentina have watched paul pick germany to beat their squads. germany cheered the octopus as they saw huge victories throughout the tournament.

now ze germans are upset…very very upset -- so upset in fact that poor paul is getting death threats. disgruntled germans want to see paul sauteed up in garlic and butter or deep fried and served with marinara sauce and peta wants him set free.

what everyone wants to know is who’s paul like in the big dance? spain and the netherlands face off in the Fifa Championship game. here’s a video of paul making his pick…

so there you have it -- the oracle has spoken.

and germans -- lets cut paul some slack -- he’s just predicting the future -- not making it. so don’t shoot the messenger…or serve him up with butter and garlic. he simply calls ‘em like he sees ‘em.

today on air with kenny jones – we unveiled a youtube vid that has taken the web by storm. it’s a guy who gets really really really really really really really excited by the site of a “double” rainbow in his front yard.

yeah, we can’t figure out why he was so excited either. i guess this just goes to show you that nothin’ good can come from smokin’ crack!

today on air with kenny jones -- we discovered a disturbing video. now a rainbow is an amazing thing -- but this guys in yosemite national park comes across a double rainbow and goes a little overboard. actually -- overboard is an understatement.

he’s become an internet sensation -- and loads of people are flocking to video sites to listen to this cat gush over a “double rainbow”. Dude, come on! it’s light refracted by water -- calm down.

it doesn’t take long before son=me gets ahold of something like this and exploits it. they’re now putting out a record with this guys rantings set to music. here’s a sample of the first single…

today on air with kenny jones -- we revealed the news of a new trailer for the final installment of the harry potter series. It looks AWESOME!   I cannot wait to see this flick.

Today on air with kenny jones – we learned that there will be a new actor in the spiderman suit this time around. apparently they feel the on-screen chemistry between maguire and dunst is gone. and they feel that the new guy is the perfect fit for the spidey reboot.

his name is Andrew Garfield and here he is…

wow – almost and exact likeness of maguire, huh? maybe we should have a look at him without the mask…

okay, now you can see a bit of a difference. but there is a HUGE difference that you can’t quite make out from the images…andrew is british!

does this mean we’ll move the flick from the streets of new york to the back alleys of london? will spidey have a british accent and call everyone gov’nor?

who knows? but they’ve already changed the Spiderman Theme to match the new actor. have a listen for yourself…

who knows…perhaps they’re on to something, we’ll have to wait and find out. it’s slated to hit theatres in july…of 2012!

On Air with Kenny Jones – we heard the story of the latest Lady GaGa antics.  First she’s decided to use real dead bodies on stage for her Monsters Ball tour.  Yeah, that’s right.  See if your momma lets you go to those concerts now t’weens!

The pop princess has teamed up with a corpse preserving scientist to spice up her concert series.  YIKES!!!

She also made headlines not for havin’ dead bodies on stage during her shows but for takin’ a header at a london airport!  here’s a shot of the get up…

today on air with kenny jones – move over burger king and McDonald’s – there a new burger in town…the lion burger.

a mom & pop restaurant in arizona decided to celebrate the world cup by putting a black market “lion burger” on the menu.  little did they know the email news letter they sent out would land in the hands of an animal rights activist!

she put it in the hands of the local tv station and now…of course – it’s turned into a media blitz.  it’s gone global baby!
is eating lion meat legal?

it turns out that eating lion is illegal in the united states.  so the restaurant and the distributor are in a lil’ bit of hot water.  turns out the guy that was distributing the meat did a stint in prison in 2003 for selling tiger and leopard meat…What a jerk!

but in light of the controversy surround this incident, disney has taken an opportunity to make changes to one of their classic animated features.  have a listen to the movie trailer here…

Today On Air with Kenny Jones, we learned of a new type of music…SOLAR MUSIC!

It’s musical sounds created by longitudinal vibrations within the Sun’s atmosphere..whatever the hell that is?   They have been recorded and accurately studied for the first time by experts at the University of Sheffield.  The eggheads over there are shedding light on the Sun’s magnetic atmosphere.

Using state-of-the-art mathematical theory combined with satellite observations, a team of solar physicists from the University have captured the music on tape and revealed the harmonious sounds are caused by the movement of giant magnetic loops in the solar corona — the outermost, mysterious, and least understood layer of the Sun’s atmosphere…i know, i know, it sounds made up.  Most importantly, the team studied how this sound is decaying, giving an unprecedented insight into the physics of the solar corona.

Now they’re taking it one step further – they’re cutting an album of all of the solar music’s greatest hits – and its burning up the charts – along with everything else…

it was interesting when they were doin’ it in the name of science, now they’re just tryin’ to turn a quick buck.  Perhaps with record sales up that grant money could go to study Cow Burps, the impact of Wet Underwear on Thermoregulatory Responses and Ultrasonic Velocity in Cheddar Cheese…and yeah, that’s a thing!

Who knows how they do it, but the managed to get Frank Maake on the hook. Here’s what he had to say…

Frank claims to have invented the noise maker back in the 1960s. As for those who are complaining about the sound, he says you should embrace the sound as it is part of the unique experience of South African football. Next week…the inventor of the ear plug – which are completely sold out in South Africa.

Mr. Maake also said “the Vuvuzela is the soundtrack to the World Cup 2010.”  Yes it is…and it may be the last one you ever hear!

Today On Air with Kenny Jones – we got wind of info telling us about 50 Cent’s new movie. The flick’s called “Things Fall Apart“.

And 50 Cent isn’t bulking up for this one…he’s actually lost 50 pounds!

He’s landed the starring role in the film, which has the rapper playing a football star who is diagnosed with cancer. Fitty used to be a big and brawny guy, but this dramatic weight loss is scary. He posted photos yesterday on his Facebook pag.

Be warned, they are quite disturbing…

He looks…uh…great.  Don’t cha think?

Okay, so he looks like death warmed over – but are you gonna tell that to a guy that’s been shot 9 times and lived to tell the talet?!?!?!

This got us wondering if there was actually a diet that works? Does anyone have one? Please post. Cuz the current Snickers Bars & Coca Cola diet I’m on ain’t lost me a pound!
