that however, is not always the case.  especially when we unleashing hitch on the rnj faithful.   come to think of it, it’s not always the smartest thing in the world.

it’s nice to know that fellow “beaters” support the cause by listening to the bizarre little 2 hour block of face-melting rock laced a healthy dose of foolishness that we roll out every tuesday night.

on rock n jordan with kenny & hitch – sometimes we get some rather bizarre phone calls.  more often than not, the later it gets, the stranger the calls become.

for instance – it was recently discovered that i was one listeners good luck charm.  her four leaf clover, her lucky horse shoe, her blue diamond, her pink heart, her yellow moon…wait a second – that’s the cereal, isn’t it.

ya gotta dig those frosted lucky charms…

they’re magically delicious!

wait – we’re gettin’ sidetracked here.  perhaps it’d be better if you simply listened to the call.

believe it or not – some fail to abide by either.  and to get your request on the air it’s gotta go thru hitch.  althoughit doesn’t always show, he knows that with great power comes great responsibility.

normally we would never utter the words “michael” and “jackson” on rnj, “wacko jacko” maybe…but rules are rules.  on last weeks show hitch gave it to me for mentioning the king of pop’s motion picture.

this got us talkin’ about puttin the make-up on and doin’ the show.  halloween is just around the corner…so who knows?

on rock ‘n’ jordan with kenny and hitch – the strangest thing happened to us.  we got a phone call from on of the rnj faithful and got put on hold while they thought of a request…THEY called US…then put US on hold.

normally we would have put the phone down – but i think we were a bit stunned by the developments.  have a listen to the foolishness here…

who calls a radio station and puts the jock on hold…THAT’S MY JOB!

on rock ‘n’ jordan with kenny and hitch – we got into a bit of a debate over the etiquette of passing gas.

after a fill up at one of the buffets for iftar – hitch found the ability to control his bodily functions was quite the task.  i normally wouldn’t care – however, i had to share a studio with him for 2 hours.  the beat studio – is quite the confined area!

so were were curious what the etiquette was concerning breaking wind in the company of colleagues?  Here’s what one of the rnj faithful has to say on the matter…

i’m investing in a gas mask – that is all there is to it!

so what’s the protocol here?  do you excuse yourself and pollute the air outside the work environment?  or do you let rip and pray that you’re co-worker’s got his mouth open?

on rock ‘n’ jordan with kenny & hitch – we got into a heated debate over nickelback.  kenny insists they ROCK and are worthy of air-play during the rock show…hitch, on the other hand, is of the opinion that that they’re best suited for air-play during regular beat-fm hours.  BLASTPHEMY!

at least they look like rockstars…right?  anyway, i know, i know – they’re canadian.  but we don’t hold that against them.  check out what the rock ‘n’ jordan faithful had to say about nickelback:
