First, James Bond star DANIEL CRAIG called the KARDASHIANS “[Effing] idiots”.  And now, JONAH HILL is voicing his displeasure at their popularity.

Although the star of THE SITTER is not TOO serious about it, he definitely thinks there’s something wrong with a society in which the Kardashians are more popular than more creative forms of entertainment.

He says:

“The truth of it is, I have friends who work in TV and the Kardashians get higher ratings than their TV shows.  Shows that people actually work hard on . . . writing and creating and trying to tell stories.

“The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like ‘Mad Men’ is disgusting.  It’s a super disgusting part of our culture, but I still find it funny to make a joke about it.

“Whenever I say I like reality TV, people write about it like they’re in shock.  I can’t even understand it, so I watch it.  I think it’s funny and I definitely enjoy it in a making-fun-of-it sort of way, but where does the line sort of end?

“When do I stop making fun of it and become an actual fan?”

Sounds to me like Jonah is a little confused.

To be honest, I am too.  For the life of me, I can’t seem to wrap my head around the popularity of this tripe either.  It blows my mind how the world is draw to these numpties like moths to a flame.  But I do agree with Jonah that the ONLY entertainment value in watching the show is taking the piss out of every single thing they do.  But they make it soooooooo easy!

Wait a minute…now i’m confused?  Does this mean is some twisted way I’M a fan?  I’m shocked, disgusted and ashamed all at the same time.

His name is CASPER SMART.  He’s 5-foot-8, 160 pounds.  Have a look at our d-list celeb here.   What does she see in this guy?  Perhaps it’s the fact that he looks like he’s 17.  And she is now officially a cougar at age 42.

Casper, ya know she’s got baggage, right?  She’s currently separated, has a divorce under her belt and not to mention the twins.

He’s batting waaaaaay outta his league.   Then again, she was married to the Puerto Rican Steve Buscemi.

SASHA GREY . . . who’s already a FORMER porno star at the young age of 23 . . . has a new hobby.  She (wait for it…wait for it…) reads to school kids.  And even though some people don’t like that idea, she doesn’t plan on stopping.

Last week, Sasha read to first and third graders at Emerson Elementary School in Compton, California, as part of the Read Across America program.  There was backlash – some of which came from parents who found out after the fact.

But she’s staying firm.  (And tight.  And smooth.  And . . . Oh, sorry.  Forgot where I was for a second there.

Sasha says, quote:

“I committed to this program with the understanding that people would have their own opinions about what I have done, who I am and what I represent.  I am an actor.  I am an artist.  I am a daughter.  I am a sister.  I am a partner.  I have a past that some people may not agree with, but it does not define who I am.  I will not live in fear of [my past].  To challenge non-profit education programs is an exercise in futility, counter-productive and anti-educational.”

The Read Across America program has Sasha’s back, and her fans have been offering up support, too.  Sasha officially retired from smut in April.  Her “legit” work includes playing herself on “Entourage“, and a starring role in director Steven Soderbergh’s 2009 film “The Girlfriend Experience“.

Her other cinematic output includes “2 Big 2 Be True 4“, “Assault That Ass 9“, “Hairy Movie“, “Anal Acrobats” 1 and 3 . . . and the obvious:  “Sasha Grey’s Anatomy“.  Her CV also includes a Best Oral Sex award for “Throat:  A Cautionary Tale“.

Meanwhile, the British tabloids say Katy and husband RUSSELL BRAND are having marriage problems, and are planning a trip to India, where they got married, to rekindle the romance.   (yawn)

And in her reply, Kelly kept referring to the baby as “she” and “her“.  She said, quote,

“I don’t know.  I think her dad is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love.”

Then, asked if the kid will be spoiled, Kelly said, quote,

“I think she’ll be very well behaved.  Her parents will make sure of that.”

It’s not clear if Kelly wasn’t supposed to say that.  We also don’t know if Beyoncé is mad about it.  But neither she nor JAY-Z have announced their baby’s sex themselves yet.

Reports are also coming in that after Rowland revealed the sex of Beyonce’s baby, she then tried to talk about her own upcoming projects, but everyone stopped listening

“Rolling Stone” recently polled their readers to come up with a list of the Top 10 Metal Bands of All Time.  They released the results yesterday.

If you’re a REAL metal fan, you’re probably going to question how “Rolling Stone” readers define “metal.”  For example, LED ZEPPELIN made the Top 10, and DREAM THEATER made the list as well.  And no list of headbangin’ metal bands would be complete without the Mighty Met…that’s METALLICA to you and me.

Anyway…here are the results:

In fact, there’s an online petition making the rounds . . . asking the band to be replaced, because the fans are apparently DISGUSTED by Nickelback.

Perhaps we should let the disgruntled Lions’ faithful speak for themselves.  Here are some excerpts from the from the petition:

“This game is nationally televised, do we really want the rest of the U.S. to associate Detroit with Nickelback? Detroit is home to so many great musicians and they chose Nickelback?!?!?!

“Does anyone even like Nickelback?  Is this some sort of ploy to get people to leave their seats during halftime to spend money on alcoholic beverages and concessions?

“This is completely unfair to those of us who purchased tickets to the game.  At least the people watching at home can mute their TVs.  The Lions ought to think about their fans before choosing such an awful band to play at halftime.”

Nickelback is Canadian . . . and a pretty terrible band.  Plus, there are a ton of great artists that are actually from the area, including Bob Seger, Aretha Franklin, Alice Cooper, Kid Rock, Iggy Pop and Eminem, and how doesn’t the Motor City Madman’s name not come up?  Ted Nugent IS Detroit rock!  And don’t even get me started on Motown!

Because Kim filed for DIVORCE yesterday . . . after 72 days of wedded bliss.

While source says Kim simply didn’t have time for her marriage, along with all the “famous-person stuff” she has to do and that the couple never had any time alone; her petition cites “irreconcilable differences”.   It also notes that Kim and Kris had a prenup, and asks that Kris be denied spousal support.  (You can read the divorce petition here.)

Kim issued a statement saying, quote,

“I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision.  I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.  We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Need a reason for the split?  There are about a million of ‘em floating around online.  One thing we can say with almost complete certainty is that Kim and Kris jumped into this way too soon.  Even tv’s golden boy RYAN SEACREST (who produces all the Kardashian reality drivel for E!) had something to say about the mess .  He said, quote,

“I’ve spoken to Kim briefly and she says she’s sad and got caught up in all that was going on.”

It sounds like Kim is admitting she made a mistake.  Although she’d probably never admit she only got married because she wanted to be the center of attention in a humongous fairytale wedding on national TV.  In case you’ve forgotten, this was Kim’s SECOND marriage.  She was married to a music producer named Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 . . . back before she was famous.

What is the grieving divorce’ up to now?  She must be devastated and finding it nearly impossible to even get up in the morning…nope.  Kim is currently on her way to Australia to launch her handbag line . . . then she heads to Atlanta to film that very aptly-named TYLER PERRY movie, “The Marriage Counselor” – how ironic.

While Kim was spotted heading to LAX for her trip to Australia WITHOUT her wedding ring,  Kris was scene in his home state of Minnesota, and as of yesterday, he was still wearing his…poor sap – he doesn’t even have basketball to fall back on thanks to the NBA lockout.

Here’s an interesting stat for you:  Kim and Kris’ wedding cost $20 million.  There were 72 days from the day they said “I do” until the day of their separation . . . which is listed as YESTERDAY.

That averages out to $277,777.77 a day!

Here’s a potential upside to this divorce:  Executives at E! are considering yanking Kim and Kris’ wedding special . . . which they’ve been repeating pretty regularly since it first aired October 9th…see, there is a God!
